it pretty much fits with other information, ie the BCCI affair and all that it ties into. People like Palast, Chomsky, Parenti and many others are saying similar things either regarding specific details, or more broadly.

I'm getting the impression the subject is recently becoming more mainstream. A reason may be that the activities of 'the elite' have become less covert. Still not obvious enough for most people to be alarmed by it, but enough so that more people have become aware. Occasionally there's even a documentary on the subject - on a small tv station that hardly anyone watches.
