They claim it for their own and corrupt it.

I have no doubt that they are pushing just as many Secular parents to home-school. What with their attempts to turn Public Schools into taxpayer-funded Parochial Schools with their getting elected to the School Board then pushing for "intelligent Design" and "Creation Science" and the like.

They do the same thing with "Mainstream Christianity". They get all the press, and all the face time, and people come to see their agenda as what Christianity is all about, UCC ads and press releases inviting Spongebob to church notwithstanding.

So it is with homeschooling. Think of the last time you heard a story about homeschoolers in the news. I'll bet they were Fundy whack-jobs, weren't they?
