Most of the Hollywood money goes to Democrats and a majority of the celebrities out there are liberal (however, it is not as huge a majority as Republicans would have you believe!).
Republicans bash Hollywood to reduce the influence of celebrities & their money...Just like tort reform is a way to reduce money to another money-maker for Democrats in trial lawyers...just like Reagan firing the air traffic controllers had a chilling long-term effect on unions, another cornerstone of Democratic money.
