I work nights at a grocery store. I work 7 days a week. I took a year and a half off to commit myself to further issues like this. I get responses like, this is too hard, or a shrug. That's why we are on the verge of a new generation of nuclear madness. There is just a handful in Congress who stand in the way of this expansion. We can't afford to turn away and let the hawks have the floor to themselves. We must involve ourselves in every instigation of democracy to effect the change we wish for.

What I want is someone to echo my concerns here and elsewhere. I need support too. I need information. I need avenues of activism. I need thoughtful responses. Believe me, I feel almost alone in my concern where I live. Glazed over responses are the norm. I feel we will wait until we are on the verge of nuclear war to ask why someone didn't do anything to stop this.

You know as well as I do that if I don't badger, this thread will sink into oblivion and the issue likely will not be raised here until I plaster the board again.
