4. No. They should not "repent".
It is no one except George W Bush to blame for the situation in Iraq. The majority of Democrats voted against going to war in Iraq. Why should they repent?

They should come out and say that we will change the policy as soon as we are in office. We will withdraw the troops as soon as possible. We will make every effort to work with the UN to replace our troops and to set up an international force. We should say that we think George W Bush and the Republicans made a terrible mistake and we will correct that when we are in power. But repent? No.
