Grand juries can indict officials of the federal government, except the President, whom they conclude should be tried for crimes such as those enumerated here. The Citizens' Indictment can lead to the full investigation, arrest and prosecution of officials in the Bush/Cheney government from Dick Cheney on down. This can happen. And if the President is not impeached and tried while he is in office, he can be indicted after he leaves the White House. Now or at any point, a real grand jury can do with the Citizens' Indictment, or variations or parts of it, whatever they have the courage, democratic convictions, and patriotism to do."
