There could be a lot of things going on here. Obviously KO and Griffin have problems and KO does have a history of tension with his bosses. I wonder if the Comcast suits are a factor as well. I find it difficult to believe that any network would jettison their biggest ratings-getter, so that makes me think that he's being spanked and put on time-out, probably being issued a series of demands at the same time as the price of getting back on the air. On the other hand, why risk blowback from his fans if the plan is the bring him back out? Then you've taken some of the negative consequences of the incident without the 'positive' of actually getting rid of him for good.

I wonder if the Falafel Master will break his personal vow not to say Olbermann's name tonight? He won't be able to resist gloating and talking about it I'm sure.

I'm going to throw this one out here so just in case it happens, I will have been the first to predict it. What if Murdoch snapped him up, ditched Greta, and gave Keith the 10 pm slot over at Fox . . . just saying :)
