30. Well..The US and most of the rest of the world issues arrest warrants
and requests custody be transferred from one sovereign state to another. It happens every day.

We are not the judge, jury and police force of the entire world.

No, we do have the authority to issue arrest warrants for any person who attacks the US American people or our interests on matter where they might be, as does every other state on the planet. People are arrested in the US on German warrants and people are arrested in the UK on US warrants, happens all the time.

Putting people who are doing their jobs and not committing crimes in jail seems useless and cruel.

Did you read the article?

"Sudanese-born Ibrahim al-Qosi, 50, had admitted conspiracy and providing support for terrorism.

However, he could serve far less time because of a plea deal which is likely to remain secret for several weeks.

Qosi, who was detained in Afghanistan in 2001, also admitted working as Bin Laden's bodyguard and helping him avoid capture by US forces.
