The Gulf oil spill is your fault, Sarah Palin tells extreme environmentalists on her Facebook site.

Heres the deal, the former U.S. Republican vice-presidential candidate says. With your nonsensical effort to lock up safer drilling areas . . . Youre not preventing environmental hazards; youre outsourcing them and making drilling more dangerous.

British Petroleums deep water offshore drilling site in the Gulf of Mexico exploded five weeks ago and has been spewing millions of barrels of crude oil into the waters off the Southern U.S. states ever since.

Extreme deep water drilling is not the preferred choice to meet our countrys energy needs, but your protests and lawsuits and lies about onshore and shallow water drilling have locked up safer areas. Its catching up with you, Palin tells environmentalists. The tragic, unprecedented deep water Gulf oil spill proves it.

The Arctic National Wildlife Reserve, with its drilling footprint like a postage stamp on a football field, and the National Petroleum Reserve in Alaska, with its rich lodes of oil and natural gas, sit untouched because of environmentalists, the former Alaska governor says.

Radical environmentalists: you are damaging the planet.
