wearing Obama shirts. He's working WITH allies, instead of against them. Can't underestimate the transformation use of soft power, and how that has changed in the world. Obama humbly said he didn't feel he deserved it and certainly didn't lobby for it. I believe this is partly for his accomplishments toward peace (change of world tone from Bush, return of vigorous diplomacy, use of soft power instead of brute force, brilliant political play of Iran, nuclear disarmament proposals, efforts toward reducing global warming etc..) and partly acknowledgment of his future promise. Oslo is playing there own cards, painting him as a peacemaker, makes it harder for him to escalate conflicts and instead seek peaceful solutions. Some have complained about the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Remind you all that he didn't start these wars, he's trying to wind them down responsibly.
