454. Too early in his term
Mr. Obama will be President for a minimum of four years (God willing, of course). The committee should have let him develop a record, not just promises that may or may not be difficult or impossible to fulfill.

Anybody can talk peace, but a record of accomplishing peace (ending wars, ending other conflicts, eliminating--or at least greatly reducing--poverty and other causes of wars) should be on one's rsum before being considered for or awarded the Nobel or any other peace prize.
