and wastes of time. We know they will say something nasty, no matter what.

You do the right thing and let the chips fall where they may. And, they are likely to fall in the right place, sooner or later.

A recent poll shows 9% approval of Republicans in Congress. That's out of a possible 100%. Not that Democrats have been stellar. But the constant obstructionism and negativity and rabid commenttary is not lost on Americans, nor is it welcomed by them.

But even if the world buys their crap, you still do the right thing and you still don't worry about what they will say.
