and Obama was hoping to even the scales with a 11th hour appeal to try and balance the scales before the vote...of course, to hear the MSM and the GOP tell it, you would have thought Obama was presiding over the entire city's olympic committee from the start :eyes:


And while I realize Rio was the better and more obvious choice, are there *really* people on the left and right fuckin' CHEERING the fact that one of our cities didn't get the world's biggest sporting event? Were they even paying ANY attention to the selection process until Obama announced he would appear?? :wtf:
