No one cares what Republicans have to say. For too long Democrats have cowered in the corner in fear of how the repubes will portray them. Guess what, If you identify yourself as a Democrat the right will call you things far worse than asshole. Did Cheney apologize for telling Patrick Leahy to go fuck himself on the Senate floor? Never apologize for saying anything about a Republican. It will be seen as a sign of weakness. A major political party has been seized by the lunatic fringe. That's their problem, not ours.
