Simple. Because the CEO of NBC is a Repub and when President Obama will raise taxes on the have-ever-more class, he will not like it at all, so he is scared shitless about the idea of a future President Obama and Vice-President Biden will come true. So he's doing all he can for that not to happen. But he will fail.

Hope it's clear enough, now.

OTOH, who cares for TV stations when We Have The World Wide Web?
