347. too late, the DoJ is already doing this
They investigate and come after democrats and liberals, esp prior to election season. Admitted, investigated, and found guilty thereof is our Dept of "Justice". So, our govt is already doing what you suggest it should not do in order to protect freedom of speech/belief.

And no one said anything about hurting conservatives, unless you equate every hate mongering propagandist as necessarily being conservative?

it was simply suggested that hate speech sold as propaganda which incites people to hurt a group of people based only on their identification with that group is a crime. That has nothing to do with freedom of speech, it has to do with the right to life and believe what you choose without being prosecuted for it.

it is an incorrect assumption that freedom of speech supersedes all other rights.

For a right to life group, it's exceptionally arrogant and hypocritical that they believe their right to speak (hate and propaganda) overrides another person's right to life. So, now it is OK to call for the death of people who believe something they don't? And when in fact some "crazy", who conveniently got shot and now can't speak for himself, acts on their words, they feel no guilt? wow. arrogance and insanity personified.

that's the profile of a sociopath or a psychopath.
