Hey, he was just following orders.

He got paid the big bucks to lie, so lie he did. Maybe he told himself that it wasn't up to him to discern what was true from what was false. That wasn't in the job description. All he had to do to earn the big bucks was to parrot what they gave him to say.

So, Mr. Snow, was it really worth your soul?
