Many of the elders I have spoken with over the years, from many of the different Nations spread across Turtle Island (North America), have been clear in their teachings about gambling.

They have told me that, as recounted in the teachings handed down to them via the oral tradition, the Red Nations were warned about gambling in the past

The Red Nations were warned before, and didn't listen. They say that was one of the big factors that brought on the Great Flood (over 200 cultures around the world have "myths" about the big flood -- and Native America is among them with many stories).

At that time long ago, the elders have told me, the Red Nations were warned again. They were told that if they went back to gambling (gaming) again, it would be a factor bringing on another cleansing.

This is how I have heard it. This is how it has been told to me. To you, in a respectful manner, I report it so, that the Sacred Hoop may be made whole.
