I personally dont agree with abortion either, but I don't think Government at any level should have any ability to say anything about it! That is a decision that should be between the woman, her God, her Dr. and her husband. Period!

How did this issue even get into a government debate?

I understand is the debate should be about medicade paying for abortions, or in some other way funding them. I can understand why the opposition would disagree with their $$ being spent for abortions. If there's no funding, and I'm sure there isn't, why is this even considered an issue?

I've never heard of any major discussions about in vitro, or artificial insemination. The Catholic Church is against those too!
