Program Rates
The total cost of treatment is based on each patient's length of stay, which depends upon the patient's program placement and progress.

Medical Assessment & Stabilization—$1,550 per day
(patients usually spend 2-3 days in MAS)

Addictions—$1175 per day

Eating Disorders Program—$1,285 per day

Mood & Anxiety Program—$1,285 per day

Program for Sexual & Trauma Recovery—$1,285 per day

Assessment & Diagnostic Program—$8,400 for full 4 1/2-day program

The daily rate for patients includes room and board and group therapy. The MAS daily rate includes room and board, initial laboratory testing, basic admission psychological screening tool, nutritional and fitness assessments, and group therapy. Specific psychological testing may be provided at additional charge(s).

Family therapy is provided at no extra charge, regardless of how many family members attend the Family Program. There will be an additional daily charge if a patient must be transferred back to MAS for medical observation ($115 for Addictions, $130 for Eating Disorders, $130 for Sexual & Trauma Recovery, or $130 for the Mood & Anxiety Program).

The total cost of a Sierra Tucson treatment experience depends on the patient's program placement and the number of days required to complete the treatment plan. The average cost for a patient ranges from $41,000 to $64,855. This includes an average two-day stay in MAS and an estimate of average separately billed services/ancillary charges.* Your total cost will vary, based on your level of acuity, individual needs, length of stay, and ancillary charges. Financing is available upon approval. Private-pay patients are eligible to receive a 5% cash discount for payment prior to admission or a 3% discount for payment upon admission.

*Separately billed services included in the estimate of ancillary charges: Initial psychiatric evaluation ($350), history and physical examination ($190), physician visits or consultations (average $65 per visit), medications (average $1,500 - $2,000), and one EMDR therapy session ($150 per session).

Separately billed services not included in the estimate of ancillary charges: Additional laboratory testing, additional psychological testing, acupuncture (ear lobe $35; full-body $110), and psychiatric technician services (if necessary).
Off-site Services: Services provided by third parties that are billed directly to patients include any off-site testing, additional off-site laboratory work, emergency room visits, and dental visits.
