All I was saying, in response to a comment that was later deleted, is that he was very hard-hit by the death of his wife, which is a NATURAL, normal, response, given their many decades together. His staff felt his pain.

Right now, the thing that does keep him going is his political life. He's been a voice of sanity in a sometimes insane Senate of late, and I wish him many more years there.
