5. i get bashed every time i try to explain Reason is not an aspect of Islam
they never had an Age of Reason like the west... they have never had a reformation to collectively define what 'Belief' in islam means means.. or what Islam is and isn't.

i get the feeling that they dont criticize an extremest who says he is on a mission from god to go kill as many infidels as possible.. because he might be..not that they themselves would do that.

when i say they dont use reason i dont mean universally.. i am sure there are educated Muslims that do, and i lived in an Islamic country and the Moors i ran around with were really wonderful and were starving for education.. when i left Dakar i gave my Huge Cassells French/english/French dictionary to Mahamedu who was the Peace Corps House Boy and he cried.. nay, Bawled with deep heaving sobs that shook his whole body as he held the book to his chest and rolled on the floor.. i was later told that book was worth a years wages and it meant he could study at home for a Peace Corps scholarship to go to university in the United States.

i figured that was why i really was sent there, we were sent to teach Tworag slaves to grow gardens for their masters, slavery is instutionalized in islam in that area. they sold 6 and 10 yrar olf children stolen form the moors for $35 in 'Open slave markets' on the street in Dakar.. and were still selling them when Bu$he declared slavery ended during his visit there .. but you cant garden in the Sahara desert, it was to just get a foot hold in Mauritania.
