70. It could be they knew in advance that the Dems were unable to
bring over any Repukes... I dunno. (Not to totally excuse them, but I think everyone knew the Repukes would present a united front--at least this time. This issue isn't going away, and it may well be that events will make a few crossover votes possible in the not too distant future.)

Any reason you failed to mention Zell Miller's no show? (I think he decided not to vote rather than be the 1 out of 100 who wasn't party-loyal.)
