179. I think you are right
this disaster is now being used as a dress rehearsal for federal martial law takeover of a major American city. I'm advising my family not to return to New Orleans, where I grew up and where my Grandfather has lived for 76 years. I believe it will be turned into a Police State for however long the Feds can get a way with it as a laboratory in martial law.
I myself in addition to questioning why federal funding for the Corp of Eng. was slashed, and why the federal response to the Hurricane was so inadequate, am suspicious that in fact FEMA has been actively working to THWART relief efforts and has worked intentionally to WORSEN the devestation. In addition I am also very suspicious about the origin of the break in the 17th street canal. This area of the canal had been recently enforced. How did it lose a 20 yard section of ground and concrete barrier? I suspect sabotage.
I hold BushCo responsible for genocide and the intentional destruction of my hometown New Orleans.
