47. Prescott Bush's Senate Seat
The story of how Prescott Bush got his senate seat is kinda interesting. I read about it for about 30 minutes a few months ago.

The Senator that came b-4 Prescoot was some Irish Dude (father of nuclear policy in the USA?? Bredon McMahon or something) suddenly got a virulent form of cancer, dies about 1/2 way into his term, and Prescott gets his seat.

Another lucky break for the Bush Family.
