.....Bublis, a 24-year-old Archer City High School graduate, graduated from West Point in 2003. He entered the Army and was assigned to Iraq with the 25th Infantry Division Stryker Brigade.Bublis was serving in Mosul, Iraq, when an explosive hit the Stryker military vehicle he was in April 23. Bublis' injuries included two skull fractures - at one point requiring that doctors cut into his skull to relieve pressure - and third-degree burns to 26 percent of his body. That included burns to his nose, back, arms, legs and lungs.
