1. prevent trademarking of phrases in the common language and use...
one should not be able to trademark phrases used in common and every day language. say, "there you go again" like reagan said, that should not be trademarkable. any common language being appropriated for personal and or commercial gain.......no dice.

PS - the letters MSONGS used together in relation to the creation/distribution of music in multiple ways is trademarked by yours truly. took a lot of research and study to learn how the system works.
