When anyone says Lucas is jabbing Bush, he or she is also saying these certain aspects of our government are the same as Nazism. My semi-Freeper BIL told me he loved "Sith," except for the "unnecessary" jabs at Bush. When I asked what jabs and he told me, I said, "Steve, those are jabs at Hitler and the Third Reich, so you're acknowledging the man you voted for and his administration are fascists." He got really angry at me and hung up.

I don't think Lucas had to tweak much to make it Bush-specific. The Enabling Acts/ They are parts of the Patriot Act & PA II which are very much like Order 66.
