45. No, it's not a cure, but no one has claimed it's a cure. However,
it IS a way to minimize their exposure and access to children. And that is important.

Just as you don't want sex offenders running church youth groups, serving as scoutmasters, teaching PE and volunteer coaching for sports, you don't want them living close enough to schools to begin to target their prey.

1/2 mile isn't all that much -- more so in a very small township with a lot of schools, perhaps, but not so very much for a simple layer of protection for our children. And it's not like there aren't a gazillion other places to LIVE in the country and even the state.

I'm amazed -- and sickened -- by the adverse responses here and tacit (as well as more overt) defense of people 99% of whom WILL harm children again, no if's, and's or but's.
