development and or other causes contradicts the whole concept of sin as we are led to believe by religion. This failed sin deterrent does not mean that there is not a need to control these aberrations, but the creation or intelligent design view falls a part when looking at the truth of the situation. Where's the beef? Also the main justification, IMO, for promoting any religion is to push the idea that this God knows when you are good or bad so self policing will kick in. In fact the devious way that the human mind works leads to using religion as a smoke screen to protect oneself from being caught. To me this wishful thinking as to the power of sin to make humans behave is prov en to be BS over and over every day. I do not know what would work, but the solution will surely lie with scientific observation, not religion.
