doesn't mean that he's not going to be involved anymore. It reminds me of when Jeb 'stepped aside' during the 2000 election. It left a vacuum of leadership for the public and behind the scenes he was still very much involved in helping his brother's campaign.

The same thing will happen at the DOJ. Gonzalez can use this has an excuse to slink back into the shadows and still be in charge.
