so don't quote me, and Federal practice is not my specialty, but ...

using their broad, equitable powers, I see no reason why a judge couldn't issue a temporary restraining order preventing the film from being aired. If it can cause irreperable harm to Plaintiff (i.e. slander the plaintiff in 15 states, or however many Sinclair reaches). Of course, the courts will balance this harm against possibel 1st Amendment rights of the broadcasters.

Still ... it's worth a shot. I'd try it, at least.
