That show is about a middle-class American family with a father who has a good job, the family lives in a nice house and has time to spend with each other, and with retired parents who seem to be in good health with time to enjoy their retirement?
How does this bear any resemblance to the republican ideal of impoverished wage slaves, both parents working 80 hour weeks for less than minimum wage, while the grandparents work at Wal-Mart to earn enough money to choose between food and medicine? All the while living in constant fear in a fundamentalist hell of tattletails, informers, snitches, police states, and worldwide war?
