More states are enacting laws that require a woman to see the abortion provider & be given "educational" materials on the procedure. Twenty-four hours later, she can get the abortion. Not only the dirt poor would have a problem with taking two days off from work & family responsibilities, driving to another state & paying for a motel. Then driving back immediately thereafter.

Complications are rare but they do occur; wouldn't a woman be better off at home, able to get medical care immediately if needed? Would emergency rooms in an "abortion-free" state be able to treat post-abortion problems--or would they be expected to call the cops?
