Reply #34: UN Should Plan To Live Without US

Since the right wing has the US government by the throat and is gleefully turning our Republic into a rogue state under the control of the Banana Republican Party, the UN would be wise to start making contingency plans to continue its existence if the Far Right achieves its wet dream and pulls the US out of the UN.

I expect that after a long stay in the wilderness, a poorer, hungrier, humbler US would eventually petition the UN for readmission--but it probably won't get its veto back.
