People didn't want to rent to single mothers. And they had a hard time finding work too.
Our society was hellbent on one single-minded goal: relinquishment. We wanted EVERY SINGLE CHILD born out of wedlock to be given up for adoption.
These are the days that Republicans like Mike Pence and Bill Bennett want to go back to. They want a return to the Baby Scoop Era.
If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
