Compromising means actually changing positions or policies, like the way Joe Biden did when polls showed that the Iraq War was popular, or like Warren did when she backed off single payer when the pundits started to complain.
Bernie changed nothing. He's as solid on those issues as he's ever been. He's not promoting Rogan's views on those issues, he's promoting the fact that people don't need to agree on every single issue in order to support a broadly and consistently progressive agenda.
I mean, I guess we could let everyone who doesn't agree on every single thing vote for Trump, but then we end up with Trump, and that's bad.
