your beef seems to be that the polls were released in a staggered fashion, instead of all at once.

do you have any evidence that this was a conscious act?
anything but releasing them the minute they are available would be an aberration in the news business as i understand it. i have a vague recollection that releases are part of the contracting for these sort of thing.
i have no inside knowledge. but if you do, please share.

your desired scenario requires them to hold the single poll for a day, so either way, you need to explain how you know this is even possible.
