But then they flipped to Obama. They were a significant segment of the 22 point swing.
This time around, black leaders have cautioned that black support is fluid.
They have said the other candidates are starting to interest them.
Sanders has very good favorability numbers with blacks - just not as good as the Clintons or Biden.
But some of the fluidity is starting to show:

If Eric Holder joins Cory Booker and Kamala Harris, that is going to siphon away some black support - as blacks get aware of their candidacy. Many blacks do not know them yet.
This is a real horse race. Biden is in the lead but there is a long, long way to go.
