(15,642 posts)an insurgency its a loaded term. It provokes images of Che Guevara, Fidel Castro, Ayatollah Khomeini. Big difference between transform America by voting for transformative ideas and revolutionary! Obama even often talked about wanting to be a transformative president during his 2000 campaign. Did he not? So you gonna lump him in there with Bernie or any other socialist-like/revolutionary?
Theres no room for this kind of mislabeling of Democratic candidates here at DU. Its defenseless so just stop. And it was applied to candidateS not just Sanders. Warren? Harris? Yang? Booker?
Hell, its no different than labeling Joe Biden as, say, a corrupt career politician! Its not true and its meant strictly to impugn and evoke a negative image.
Just stop with the BS negative and divisive conservative right wing language!
primary today, I would vote for: Undecided
