Democratic Primaries
Showing Original Post only (View all)The DNC should not allow any candidate on debate stage that hasn't released their tax returns [View all]
We're insisting on Donald Trump's being released.... we should be consistent and say that any candidate that has NOT released their tax returns to the public will not be permitted to participate in the debates.
3 weeks ago, Bernie said his tax returns would be made public "very soon". And he hasn't done so.
As far as I know, only Elizabeth Warren has made hers available. If there are others, I haven't heard about them.
Tom Perez should come out and state simply.... "to appear on our debate stage, a candidate must have released to the public their tax returns for the past 10 years".

OP
If we are going to be calling for Trump's, we have to make it a requirement

The candidates who *have* released their full tax returns show INTEGRITY and HONESTY.

They will NEVER release their tax returns. They have NO INTENTION of ever releasing them.

OK, so I take "where are Bernie's 2017 returns" back. Where are Bernie's 2015 taxes?

Amusing that, despite calls for transparency, so many candiates are getting a pass in this topic...
