when properly administered. Mitch blocked Democrats when he held the minority, now he blocks everything when in the majority.

In a free and open society, it is important that significant positions held by a significant minority be vented openly and fairly. Without that we have the Tyranny of the Majority, like we do now.

What prevents us from using it now? Because if you do eliminate the filibuster, that will be used against Democrats. Everything is used against Senate Democrats, minority or majority. Mitch blocked Obama judges, now he won't honor Democratic blue slips that block judges. This has been one-sided, and unfair.

Let's not make the unfairness permanent. Political civility could return someday, if we don't weaponize it into granite.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
