11. O'Malley is not running from his Baltimore tenure.

And the facts are on his side. Baltimore City overwhelmingly voted for O'Malley for mayor and then for governor. Among all the stats of accomplishments in Baltimore and in Maryland, beyond all the awards, these are the most important stats of all -- the votes he received from the people. These are hard numbers.

I wish he would announce and get the suspense over with, but I suppose he has his reasons for waiting.
