Is in the long run his long political career as a "socialist" is going to be something that will be used against him by the republicans, if he were to win, and may also cause a lot of democrats who are turning out at his rallies to possible change their minds when it comes time to vote in the caucus's or the primaries. Some people, even those who support him now, are going to figure out that the label "socialist" will be used by republicans, and will hurt him if he did win the nomination.

Honestly I think even Bernie knows this. Time will tell, and if he does win the nomination will be voting for him in the general, just like I will do for any of the candidates who might win the nomination. I think all the "other candidate" supporters here on DU will vote for him also fi their candidate does not win the nomination.
