...the Democratic nominee has not yet been elected. Until that time, Bernie Sanders, Hillary Clinton and Martin O'Malley are all Democratic candidates.

Except that's not what happened here. There is no Democratic nominee as yet. The ToS wasn't violated

he never said he'd vote for an R or a 3rd party. abstaining is not voting against.

I wondered about that wording. Does seem to mean only in time of GE and not the Primary.
