4. I heard a bit of interesting trivia about Clark Gable years ago.

Apparently he used to eat garlic and make his breath really bad when he had a kissing scene with a woman. When you see those old kissing scenes it often looks as if the woman is kind of panting and holding back.

His breath stunk but it made for good love scenes.

I can't verify this at all but if it's true it was very clever.


BTW - Actors have a lot of things they do for effect. Like pull out a couple nose hairs right before the camera lands on you so you can cry for realistically. And make sure you don't blink, the eye will get red if you stare for a while.
