Pennsylvania Photo ID Law Blogger (and new 10 poster) [View all]

Hello, and nice to "meet" you all.

I am a Judge of Election in Pennsylvania, which is the fancy name they give to the poll worker elected to run each polling place in Pennsylvania (so there are thousands of us across the state). In that position, I take an oath to uphold the Constitution and laws of Pennsylvania. I also am a practicing attorney. Both of those roles make me keenly interested in the lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of Pennsylvania’s new Photo ID Law, which currently is making its way through the Pennsylvania courts (and, in fact, scheduled for trial next week). Unsatisfied with the lack of detail in press reports about the case, I have taken it upon myself to follow and report on the litigation, as well as news about the law generally, through my blog, Free and Equal PA.
