A lot changed in mid 2016 ...

>>How many jurists are there?
7

>>What does it take for a post to be hidden?
A majority (4 or more)

>>How does "not quite" options figure in the results?
I don't know. I don't think it affects the vote on the hide ("not quite" is still a no, and "close but breaks" is still a yes), but admins might consider the strength of the no's and yes's. (A current MIRT member tells me that MIRT doesn't see jury results, only admins).

>>Are the results published anywhere? (would be interesting to see how my votes compared to the other votes)
No.

On Removed Posts (the term "Hidden" is outdated -- The admins and probably MIRT are able to access the old posts, but regular DU members can't (In the old pre-2016 days, anyone could click on a "unhide" link to view a hidden post). The Removed Posts still exist -- I've had a post or two restored after getting a "Post Removed", so they're still stored somewhere and someone(s) have the ability to restore them. Additionally, the person whose post was removed also can see that post )

As for where I got this ... I would have to spend a lot of time hunting for links, but anyway I'm sure it is all in the Announcements forum, in the 2016 time frame.

Here's one: https://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1013&pid=6548

The decision to go to 7 jurors (was 6 previously) was in 2014:
