In reply to the discussion: Why CBS Is Not Publishing The 4th Part Of The Democratic Debate [View all]PoliticalMalcontent
(449 posts)It is strange to me that Part 4 was the only part of the debate to be held back from the initial debate posting. It was also the section of the debate where Hillary took the most criticism. Could it have been an accident that it wasn't posted with the initial batch? Sure. Coincidences do happen. I'm not sure I'm willing to give the benefit of he doubt.
Below is a summary of the videos as released on CBSN with date released and hit count:
Dem Debate Part 1: Candidates address Paris attacks, ISIS (Uploaded on Nov. 14th) (Views: 43,520)
Dem Debate Part 2 - Candidates spar on the economy (Uploaded on Nov. 14th) (Views: 20,368)
Dem Debate Part 3 - Candidates lay out vision for domestic agenda (Uploaded on Nov. 14th) (Views: 20,082)
Dem Debate Part 4 - Heated exchanges over Wall Street, gun control (Uploaded on Nov. 16th) (Views: 236)
Dem Debate Part 5 - Race, Clinton's emails, Sanders' electability (Uploaded on Nov. 14th) (Views: 17,506)
Dem Debate Part 6 - Crisis management and closing statements (Uploaded on Nov. 14th) (Views: 12,157)
Withholding Part 4 by two days has managed to reduce visibility on the 9/11-Wallstreet connection by ~20,000 viewers. It's not much in the grand scheme of things, but it is weird.
Why was the video not put up with the others initially on Nov. 14th?
