but as long as the media points to President Obama, they're able to continue the suspenseful narrative. If they were to focus on Congress ... where the solution lies, someone (in congress) might have to do something that'll subject them to a primary challenge by the nutty wing of their party.

No ... best to lie this at the feet of President Obama and keep the status quo.
